Thank you for visiting the Greenwood Classical Guitar Society web site. We are now in our 14th year! The society aims to encourage and develop classical guitar playing at monthly sessions and organised events.

Tango 2 Guitar Duo

Martin and Fiona form new guitar Duo called Tango 2 available for dinner parties, birthdays weddings and business functions. See poster for more details and contact.

Activities

We meet Friday evenings to play/practise ensemble pieces. We host one or two concerts a year and organise concert visits.

Aims

To enable amateur and professional guitarists to take part in ensemble playing.
To encourage music students at college to gain experience of playing to an audience.
To enable participants to increase their repertoire by exchanging music material, tapes etc. More information from Martin Shaw.
